As many of you know, I’m an incurable cat lover, and support both domestic cat rescue/adoption services, as well as wildcat rescue/rehab/preservation/rewilding operations.
So, when I saw this video circulating online of a safari bus full of tourists encountering a very friendly lioness that just wants to come aboard for pets and cuddles, I simply HAD to share it, it’s so incredibly cute and heartwarming—especially with the music added!
(UPDATE: I have since learned that this was filmed at Taigan Safari Park, in the Bilohirsk Raion of Crimea. Taigan is the largest European breeding ground for lions and other large predator mammals. As of 2023 about 60 African lions, along with many tigers and other wild animals, roam over the area of over 30 hectares (70 acres) of Crimean foothills by the Taigan Reservoir, and are available for public viewing.)
